Adding color into your apartment is a lot harder than it seems. If you’re anything like us it’s easy to gravitate towards “safe” colors; the greys, whites and black with maybe some wall art here and there to spice things up. Well here is an easier way to add color throughout your entire home, and you don’t have to commit to huge pieces of furniture, or spend too much on anything that is more permanent to get it.
Flowers! They are easy, relatively cheap, come in a variety of colors ,and can be combined in many different ways. Here are three options that you can either pair together to create a beautiful display or simply leave on their own in different places around the house to create a more subtle effect.
Lavender Flowers - These lovely flowers range from violet to deep purple and will match a range of different furniture styles. They instantly bring a calming effect and add the softest bit of color to a dull home.
Wood Hyacinth Bulbs - A small amount of blue flowers are a great addition to a DIY flower arrangement and are easy to find almost anywhere. Wood Hyacinth Bulbs are perfect for just that. Add three or four stems to the mix and you are ready to go!
