The Rotten Bunch, a new wine bar and restaurant is set to open in the Fall in Avery Ranch, Community Impact reports.
The restaurant will be located at 14900 Avery Ranch Boulevard, Building B, Suite 100 and will serve food that pairs well with wine, like cheese and charcuterie plates, risotto, and handmade desserts. The bar will also have 10 Texas beers on tap and will be led by the owners of Barlett's on Anderson Lane.
McCray and Company will handle the design. The firm has also designed Ramen Tatsu-ya and Noble Sandwich Company. The Rotten Bunch's owner has a farm in Georgetown which will supply eggs and herbs that will be used in dishes.
The Rotten Bunch name is intended to remind patrons that wine comes from "rotten grapes" and that wine needn't be stuffy. The owners want people to feel comfortable in their restaurant.
